Gilroy’s Brewery began in 1970 with Steve Gilroy’s passion for homebrewing after arriving in South Africa. Officially established in 2000, it gained acclaim in Muldersdrift, winning awards like the Daily Telegraph’s Best of British Pub. During COVID-19, closure loomed, but Hannes Greyling revived the legendary brewery, relocating it to Rivonia Crossing. Amid challenges, Gilroy’s was reborn, offering exceptional beer, food, live music, and a welcoming beer garden under majestic trees. Today, it stands as a testament to great brews and good times, reminding all that life truly is better after a couple of Gilroy pints. Let’s go to Gilroy’s!
